Luke Maund

Luke is has studied art Fine Art at Cheltenham College before going on to Farnham University to achieve a Fine Art Degree and then Digital Film Production BA at Ravensbourne University. He now splits his time between his home in Berkshire and his studio in Preston. Luke creates calm and chaos with his abstract work, working the acrylic across the wooden panels, scraping back and reapplying until the feeling is there.

‘Life can be ugly and cruel. But, for me, beauty feels like an antidote to the seemingly random and unjust tragedies of life. This is my attempt at bringing something beautiful into the world. My mother’s illness and passing reignited my passion for creativity. Producing something positive that others may enjoy has brought me peace and the process itself has become therapy.’
