Kitty Gray

Kitty Gray is a former Ballet dancer and West End performer. Upon retirement from the theatre, Kitty was working as a hair and makeup artist for fashion, print, film and also within the local community.

Camouflage and corrective makeup were a passion and required an eye for colour, tone and depth. Forced into taking a break with the onset of COVID, creativity began to evolve and a love of painting and drawing became a daily escape from a grim reality.

From a beginning of sketches and portraits to finding a love of texture and layering, painting became therapy, calm and absolutely necessary. Kitty has been creating bespoke pieces on commission and is delighted to be showing some of her work at The Circle Gallery.
