Jane Pilcher

Contemporary Florals, inspired by beauty is how Jane would describe her work. Blending collage with acrylic to create clean line modern floral artwork.
‘Painting is my passion! I have been painting now for some years and my work is constantly evolving as I love to experiment. My inspiration comes from the natural beauty that surrounds us, every walk in the park brings something new to trigger my imagination. Nature never disappoints! Working intuitively with collage and acrylic these paintings are influenced by the art nouveau movement and particularly artists such as Charles Rennie Mackintosh and Gustav Klimt.

I have held solo Exhibitions including Chateau Royale, Collioure (France), Parador Hotel, Begur (Spain), and Mediatech, Prades (France). I have also participated in a number of joint Exhibitions locally in Berkshire and in France. I am proud to have been a finalist in the 2018 UK artist of the year competition for the Society of All Artists and again this year, 2023, reached the second round of this competition. I have also won first and second prizes at our local three parishes Arts Weeks.’
